I’m Becky Corkill, Executive Director of Apogee 307, Curriculum Director for our K-8 (expanding to 12th) education campus in Casper, Wyoming, and Licensed Site Director for Apogee 307 Hall. As a state-certified teacher with principal and early childhood endorsements, I bring over ten years of experience from Natrona County School District, backed by bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education. While my certifications shape my expertise, I believe the true experts in every child’s life are their families, guiding their unique journeys. As a mother of two boys, I owe my path to trusting God and the unwavering support of my boyfriend, which has been my foundation.
My approach is shaped by extensive professional development and research into best practices, innovative learning models, and successful educational experiences. I am certified in Trauma Responsive Training, Curriculum Design and Development, and Home and School Connections, with additional training in High-Yield Instructional Strategies, Educational Technology and Innovation, Leadership and Community, Child Abuse, and Poverty Framework. I believe in taking the best from all educational worlds, recognizing that everyone is different and should be offered a framework to explore options that meet their individual needs.
Everyone is unique and deserves a flexible educational framework to explore options that meet their individual needs.
Families are the cornerstone of a child’s education, guiding their unique potential.
Hands-on, real-world learning builds curiosity, resilience, and practical skills.
Live by a code: stand for something, or you'll fall for anything.
Embracing mistakes as learning opportunities fosters creativity and risk-taking. Productive Failure.
Strong community partnerships cultivate confident, socially responsible youth ready for college and careers.
I graduated from the University of Wyoming with a degree in Health Sciences, specializing in health and nutrition. Over the years, I’ve taught a wide range of subjects, including Physical Education, Conditioning, Health, Nutrition, Biology, Anatomy, Physiology, Chemistry, and Environmental Sciences. My teaching journey has taken me across Colorado, South Florida, Kansas, Wheatland, Casper, and Lander, starting in 1998. For the past decade, I’ve been guiding and managing the fly fishing business my brother and I founded in 2004.
My greatest joy is spending time with my 7-year-old daughter, Ava Grace, who is my constant sidekick. I dedicate my free time to coaching, teaching, and volunteering whenever possible, while also pursuing my passions for hunting, fishing, and traveling the country with Ava by my side.
In essence, I’ve devoted my career to coaching and teaching students and athletes from Pre-K through college, helping them embrace healthy, active lifestyles and understand the lifelong importance of fitness. Whether in the gym, at the pool, or exploring the great outdoors, you’ll find me with Ava, living life to the fullest, working with kids, glorifying God in all I do, and helping others however I can.

My name is Miss Bethany West, and I’m starting my second year at Casper College, where I’m studying Psychology. I’ve lived in Casper, Wyoming, since I was in second grade and graduated from Kelly Walsh High School in 2024. I attend Grace Bible Baptist Church, where I volunteer in the nursery and assist with Junior Church. My dad has served as the assistant pastor at Grace for twelve years. Last year, I volunteered in the library at Summit Elementary, where my mom teaches special education. I’m thrilled for the opportunity to support teachers and students at Apogee 307 this year.

My name is Kim Breed. I was born and raised in Casper, Wyoming, and here I still am. I have wanted to be an artist since I was 6 years old. I graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Fine Arts from Casper College in 2009. I never saw myself as a teacher, but several years ago, I was offered a part-time job at The Nicolaysen Art Museum as an art instructor, and I was surprised to find that I loved it. I have over 10 years of art teaching experience at The NIC. I have taught preschoolers, homeschooled kids, adults, and seniors with dementia. I am experienced in many mediums, but my favorite is painting and drawing. In my spare time, I am a professional working artist, with my art for sale in multiple small galleries. I am an avid reader of fantasy and historical fiction and enjoy spending time in nature with my young son. I look forward to this new adventure teaching art at Apogee 307. Let’s make something!
